We will be carrying out essential maintenance to our My Account service to introduce an important security update on 1 July 2026 between 07:30 – 10:30.
- You will not be able to register for a new account during this time.
- If you are already logged in before the maintenance begins, your session will not be affected.
- You will still be able to submit forms and use services as normal.
If you have an existing My Account, you will be prompted to reset your password once the maintenance has finished.

Login to manage your:
- council tax account
- housing benefit and council tax support
- parking permit applications
- track progress of your requests made via My Account
Services
You don't need to login for the following services:
- Pay for it e.g. council tax
- Apply for it
- Report it
- Email newsletters
- Register to vote on GOV.UK website
Other secure accounts
You need a separate login account to use each service:
- Housing applications and rent accounts
- Parent services login (school admissions, meals and 2 year-olds' childcare)
- Library services login
- Planning and licensing login (comment on open applications)
- Consultations and petitions
